San Antonio woman arrested after reportedly making threats against former President Trump

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A San Antonio woman is in custody in Washington, D.C., for reportedly making threats against former President Donald Trump.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, 41-year-old Christina Montoya was taken into custody Friday afternoon.

Police received a tip that she was in D.C. and tracked down her vehicle then found Montoya.

In addition to charges of making threats against the former president, Montoya was charged with possessing an unregistered firearm and carrying a pistol without a license.

Last month, a would-be assassin wounded Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

The Secret Service killed the shooter.
