San Antonio Zoo brings back drive thru

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – The San Antonio Zoo is bringing back the popular drive-thru experience this weekend.  Starting July 12, you can drive through the zoo on select dates.  They’re also offering a special evening edition of Drive Thru Zoo between 4 pm and 8 pm.

The cost is $65 per vehicle for non-Annual Pass holders.  Members pay $32.   Proceeds from Drive Thru Zoo go directly towards the care of the  animals. You can still walk through the zoo on select dates.

“We wanted to offer our guests their choice of experiences when visiting the zoo, be it from their own vehicles or the traditional zoo experience on foot,” said Tim Morrow, President & CEO San Antonio Zoo. “Drive Thru Zoo has allowed families the opportunity to see the zoo in a unique way while creating new memories.”

Drive Thru Zoo is sponsored by Broadway Bank.
