SAPD: Body found near San Antonio River

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is investigating after a body was found near the San Antonio River on the South Side.
KENS 5 reports the body was found before 10:30 a.m. Monday morning in the 1900 block of Probandt Street near Concepcion Park.
Investigators say the body was found in a grassy area and was in an advanced stage of decomposition.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner will try to figure out how the person died.
