SAPD: Man charged in sexual assault at knifepoint

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Surveillance video at a Northwest Side apartment complex is getting credit for the arrest of a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman at knifepoint on Wednesday.

Police say they identified 18-year-old Tejon Brodus on Thursday and charged him with aggravated sexual assault.

The 18-year-old victim told investigators she was working out in the gym in the apartment complex when Brodus knocked on the door. She told investigators that she let him in, but after doing so he came up behind her and raped her while holding a knife.

Police say the woman struggled to get away, at which point Brodus ran from the gym.

Investigators say the suspect and the victim both live at the apartment complex.

KSAT-TV reports the victim is in fair condition and no other details are available.
