SAPD: Northwest Side hit-and-run crash kills one man, hurts woman

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is looking for the driver of a pickup truck that hit and killed a man early Monday morning.

Investigators say the victim was pushing a car off the highway with a woman on I-10 near Scenic Loop Road just before 2 a.m. As they were doing so, police say a gray pickup truck slammed into the back of their car. SAPD says the driver of the truck then drove off without stopping to render aid.

KSAT-12 reports the man in his 50s died at the scene. The woman he was with was taken to the hospital, but she is expected to recover.
