SAPD searching for missing teen who escaped CPS custody in May

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is searching for a 15-year-old girl who was last seen on May 15.

Police said she was in Texas Child Protective Services custody when she ran away and officials believe she may be in Houston or San Antonio.

Officials said Alyssa Love Cantu was last seen on the 2000 block of Castroville Road wearing a black shirt, white jeans, and gray shoes. Police said she is 5-foot-5, weighs approximately 160 lbs with long dark hair that is dyed blonde.

Officials report that Cantu has a diagnosed medical condition that requires medication.
