SAPD: Teenager tased, accused of stabbing man on North Side
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man has a life-threatening injury after he was stabbed by a teenager Saturday night.
The San Antonio Police Department took a call about a possible assault in the 300 block of West Mariposa Drive around 10 p.m. There was also word that the assault might be mental health-related.
As officers responded to that call, another call came in about a stabbing just a block away on West Wildwood Drive.
Police say the suspect was soon found running with a knife, and officers say the 15-year-old was tased before he was arrested.
There was no word on the motive for the stabbing.
KSAT-12 reports the 33-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after he was stabbed in the chest.
The teenager has been charged with aggravated assault.
