SAPD: Wife finds husband dead in backyard pool

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a drowning on the North Side.

Investigators say a woman was looking for her 41-year-old husband Saturday morning when she eventually found him in their pool in the backyard.

KSAT-12 reports the woman and a neighbor tried to resuscitate the man, but they were unable to do so. Police now think the man drowned at some point overnight.

Foul play is not suspected at this point.
