Schertz Police Department: Woman found in Whataburger parking lot with self-inflicted gunshot wound
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — There was a heavy police presence at a restaurant in Schertz Wednesday evening when officers were dispatched to a “Violent Disturbance” call.
Schertz PD says the call came in from the Whataburger on 3009 just before 8 p.m.
A press release states that when the officers arrived, they were directed to a vehicle in the parking lot.
Inside the vehicle, a female who was slumped over with what police are calling a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The officers began performing life saving measures until an ambulance arrived to transport the victim to a hospital.
Her name hasn’t been released and at last report she was in “grave condition”.
Police say there was no threat to the public.
