Schertz Police: Man struck by a vehicle while walking in the middle of a road

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police in Schertz say a 30 year old man died after he was hit by a vehicle Monday morning.
A press release from Schertz PD states the man was walking in the middle of FM 1518 near Hollering Vine just after 6 A.M.
He was wearing dark clothing and the driver who hit him didn’t see the man in time to stop.
The driver did stop and called 9-1-1 and it’s not expected they will be charged.
The name of the man who was killed hasn’t been released. The investigation continues.
