BEXAR COUNTY, Tex. (KTSA News) — The search continues in Comal County for a Garden Ridge convenience store murder suspect.
The murder happened last month at the EZ Mart location on the corner of FM 3009 and FM 2252 (Nacogdoches Road) on July 29th.
Garden Ridge mayor Larry Thompson said Monday Comal County Crime Stoppers has extended their $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest for another 30 days — expiring now on September 27th.
A 40-year-old woman from Cibolo who was working in the store as a clerk when the man — described as a black man in his 20s or 30s — shot the clerk and left with cash and lottery tickets.
