Second inmate death in 24 hours reported at Bexar County Adult Detention Center

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — For the third time in two weeks, an inmate at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center has died.

The latest inmate death happened Wednesday afternoon.

The 30-year-old was pronounced dead in his cell and early indications are that the inmate committed suicide.

Bexar County Precinct 2 is investigating the death.

The death was reported less than 24 hours after a 62-year-old inmate was found dead in a jail cell.  It was also the third inmate death since July 30.
