UPDATE: Man arrested for shooting at San Antonio police officer’s house

UPDATE 9:50 a.m.:

San Antonio police have arrested a man they say shot at an off-duty police officer’s house Friday night.

Police say a man and woman were having an argument in their car.  The woman — who was driving — pulled over in front of the officer’s home, not knowing that it belonged to someone on the police force.

The man, 21-year-old David Ezquerra, got out of the car with his handgun and fired it in anger over their argument.

The woman drove off, leaving Ezquerra on the side of the road.  She returned a short time later to pick him up.

Overnight, police were able to get information that led them to the woman.  She told police during an interview that she had no idea they were near the house of a police officer.

Ezquerra was arrested at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday without incident.  He is facing two counts of deadly conduct with a firearm.

Additional reporting by KTSA’s Dennis Foley.
