Severe Weather Possible Tonight/Tomorrow Morning

By Bill O’Neil

Things could get a little stormy around the Alamo City Tuesday Night and Wednesday Morning.

“We are expecting some severe weather tonight–it will be mainly west of I-35” National Weather Service Meteorologist Yvette Benavidez told KTSA News.

Any storms that do develop could bring all of the familiar signs of severe weather we typically see across South-Central Texas.

“Right now, the main threats are going to be winds with gusts of up to 60 MPH… and the potential of hail up to an inch (in diameter)” Benavidez said.

The system should push through the area Wednesday Morning–but forecasters say it is possible we could see something of a repeat Thursday.
