Sheriff’s deputy hurt after being hit by car, suspect on the run

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The La Salle County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man they believe intentionally hit a deputy during a domestic disturbance call.
In a post to Facebook, LSCSO says the deputy had responded to the call when Francisco Ayala, Jr., 36, tried to get away. Investigators say he intentionally hit the deputy and they are hoping the public can help find him.
Ayala Jr. might be driving a red Chevy Cruz with the license plate LBF-2126.
This suspect is considered dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911 right away.
The deputy is expected to recover from non-life-threatening injuries.
Ayala Jr. is facing a charge of aggravated assault on a public servant.
