Shootout at Sugar’s in San Antonio sends one to hospital

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Usually it’s a flurry of 20 dollar bills flying around at Sugar’s Gentleman’s Club.

But in the back parking lot of the strip club early Tuesday morning it was bullets.

Police were called to the business on Northwest Loop 1604 at around 2 A.M.

A group of men were fighting in the parking lot and when another man who was leaving the club told them to get away from him.

But one of the men pulled a gun and started shooting at the man.

That man had his own gun and started shooting back.

The first shooter, a 28 year old man, was hit twice. He’s in stable condition at University Hospital.

He’s going to be charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon when he’s released.

No charges have been filed against the other man

Police are still investigating.
