Shrinking Bee Population

There’s a lot of buzz about the nation’s shrinking bee population.

Most people swat at them or even spray them, but bees are very important to the $3B a year American farming industry.

Scientist Taylor Ricketts says the bees are crucial to the 3 billion dollar a year farming industry. Farmers rely on bees to help pollinate their crops.

He says reversing the trend is easy because bees only need three things to thrive. A place to nest, flowers to feed from and to not be poisoned by pesticides.
