Six young people arrested after nearly 100 gunshots are fired in a neighborhood on San Antonio’s West side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Six people, including a 14 year old boy, have been arrested for firing about 100 rounds outside a home on the West side.

San Antonio Police were called to the 100 block of Loma Park Drive at around 2:15 A.M. Sunday.

When they arrived they found nearly 100 shell casings on the ground. A nearby home and a parked car were damaged by bullets as well.

Officers began searching the area and were able to catch the suspected shooters. They had been involved in a car crash a short distance away.

Police detained all six on charges of Deadly Conduct with a Firearm. They range in age from 14 to 20. An 18 year old who was driving the car has been charged with Evading in a Vehicle.

Their names haven’t been released.
