Small plane crashes into Canyon Lake

CONVERSE, Tex. (KTSA News) — A small plane crashed into Canyon Lake Tuesday morning.
The Comal County Sheriff’s Office told KTSA News it happened at around 10 a.m. on the south side of the lake.
Witnesses told deputies the pilot and passenger were able to get out of the plane and both were taken to an area hospital.
The plane was en route from Midland to New Braunfels.
The FAA said the Cessna 210 lost engine power and landed in the water.
