Southbound I-35 exit ramp to Brooklyn Ave. now open

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The reconstruction of the southbound I-35 exit ramp to Brooklyn Avenue is complete and now open to traffic in the downtown area.

KSAT-12 reports that ramp was damaged more than a year ago, and crews had to demolish it over the summer.

The project is part of the I-35 and I-10 downtown repair project that will make repairs and improvements in the area. The price tag for the project is $25.9 million and will improve 5.5 miles of the corridor on I-35 from South Laredo Street to I-37 / Camden Street and on I-10 from I-35 to Hildebrand Avenue.

The Texas Department of Transportation says the project is expected to be complete in Fall 2025.
