WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams says she has not ruled out running for another political office.

However, she says she has not yet decided on the next steps in her political career.

Abrams discussed the matter during her keynote address Thursday at the Women’s E3 Summit at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Many of her supporters are calling on her to run for president or to serve as another Democrat’s running mate. Abrams would have been the United States’ first black female governor if she had won in 2018.

Abrams says a decision could come soon.
