State officials release name of man killed in shooting involving Guadalupe County Deputy

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a shooting involving a Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says 77-year-old Kenneth Grimm was shot and killed Tuesday, August 27 in Seguin.
The shooting happened at around 8 p.m. on Nogal Street.
Neighbors tell KSAT-12 that Grimm was having a mental health crisis when he was shot by the deputy.
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released any details about the events leading up to the shooting. They’ve only stated that the Texas Rangers are investigating.
