Stone Oak area couple found dead in apparent murder-suicide

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News)  San Antonio police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in the Stone Oak Area.

A husband and wife were found dead around 12:45 pm Wednesday in a home in the  Peak at Promontory, a gated community off of Wilderness Oak across the street from Wilderness Oak Elementary. A relative grew concerned after being unable to reach the couple for 24 hours.

Jennifer Rodriguez, spokeswoman for the San Antonio Police Department, told KTSA News that a firearm was found on the scene at the home on Windhurst.

Police aren’t ready to say who fired the fatal shots, but the investigation continues.
