Study finds San Antonio is the nation’s 50th most stressed city

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — With temperatures climbing past 100 degrees it’s not going to be easy to chill out.

But according to a new Wallethub study, that’s what we need to do because San Antonio is one the nation’s most stressed cities.

How did we got so uptight?

The personal finance company broke it down into 41 metrics including single parent households, mental health, sleep rates and income growth.

San Antonio ranked as the 50th most stressed city, between Corpus Christi and Worcester, Massachusetts.

At least we’re not the most stressed city in Texas. That honor goes to Houston which came in at number 15.

Dallas and Laredo are stressing more than San Antonio as well.

The top 5 most stressful cities:

  1. Cleveland, Ohio
  2. Detroit, Michigan
  3. Birmingham, Alabama
  4. Gulfport, Mississippi
  5. Newark, New Jersey

Out of the 182 cities ranked the city with the least stress is Lincoln, Nebraska.

You can check out the full findings of the study at the Wallethub website.
