Suspects accused of throwing eggs at Trump prayer group arrested in South Texas

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) -Harlingen police have arrested three people accused of throwing eggs and disrupting a group that was praying for President Trump.

Officers say several Trump supporters  gathered Saturday afternoon to pray on a grass lot when 20-year-old John Jordan Rivas started throwing eggs at them.   When they told him to stop, he allegedly pulled out a knife.

Rivas left before officers arrived, but was quickly found and arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and disruption of a meeting.   Officers also found a brown kitchen knife they believe Rivas used to threaten the group.
