SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — No injuries are reported after a fire described as ‘suspicious’ early Monday morning, but investigators may have a suspect or witness after locating a woman with burns after the fire was put out.

KSAT-TV reports neighbors woke up close to 1 a.m. to an orange glow outside their window in the 700 block of N. Palmetto Street. San Antonio firefighters were called after the neighbors could see that a shed behind the home next door was on fire.

Crews knocked the fire down and found no people inside, but San Antonio police came in contact with a woman who may be connected somehow. She reportedly had burns and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators do not know if the woman was involved in starting the fire, or if she was burned because of it.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
