Taco Bell employee fired after racist rant against Muslim customer

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A Taco Bell employee in Bridgeton, Missouri has been fired after a racist rant against a Muslim customer.   The video that went viral shows the drive-thru employee lashing out at a customer named Tarek Hamdan.

Hamdan tried to explain to the worker that he’s just as American as she is and that not all Muslims are terrorists, but that didn’t stop the woman from hurling insults at him.

Fox 2 News in St. Louis reports Taco Bell has apologized for the incident.  The company issued a statement saying ,”we welcome everyone in our restaurants and do not tolerate this type of behavior.
