Tanya Tucker has hip surgery

UNDATED (AP) – Tanya Tucker is recovering from hip surgery.

She writes on social media that her hip has been giving her pain for some time, and doctors discovered a fracture.

She says she’ll be home healing for a couple of weeks, which has forced the cancellation of her concerts for the rest of the month.

Tucker says she’s “on track for a speedy recovery.”
