Tech issues create delays at polls across Texas

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Some delays at the polls today.

Reports out of Comal County state that the voting machines themselves are fine.

The issue is with the “poll pads”. The devices used to check you in before you vote. This is an problem at polling places across the state.

In the meantime, voters will have to check in the way you used to. You just sign in on a paper form instead of electronically.

Once you do that, you can vote as you normally would.

The poll pads are operated by a company called “No Ink”. We’re told they are working in the issue.
