Teen accused of shooting San Antonio restaurant manager arrested in Dallas

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The search for a teenager wanted in connection with the shooting death of a San Antonio restaurant manager has come to an end.

U.S Marshals say they have arrested Adiah Roberson, 17, at an apartment complex in Dallas.

Officials had been searching for Roberson since July 7, when she reportedly shot and killed Daniel Shrewsbury, the manager of a Sonic Drive-In on Babcock Road.

Investigators say the shooting took place when Shrewsbury and Roberson got into an altercation after the teen tried to pay for her order with counterfeit money.

Shrewsbury had gone outside to take a photo of the car Roberson was in. She then got out of the vehicle and shot Shrewsbury, who died at the scene. He was 33-years-old.

Police had arrested another person involved in the shooting. Joshua Joseph, 27, was taken into custody on a murder charge back in August.

Roberson has been charged with Murder, Forgery of a Government Document, Evading Arrest, Criminal Trespass, and Possession of Marijuana.
