Teenager shot in altercation at San Antonio IHOP

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are investigating a shooting that sent a 16 year old boy to the hospital.

It was around 4 A.M. Tuesday when the teenager got into a verbal altercation with a group of people at an IHOP restaurant on IH-10 and Vance Jackson.

According to KSAT-12, they all went outside and that’s when someone started shooting, hitting the teen twice.

He was shot in the buttocks and his injuries are being called non-life threatening.

The shooter fled the scene and police are still searching for them.

There’s been no description of the shooter and no information on why the altercation started.
