Terrell Hills Police Officer arrested on domestic violence charge

 SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A Terrell Hills Police officer is out of jail following his arrest for a family violence incident over the weekend.

KSAT-12 reports Corporal Michael Escobedo was arrested by Bexar County Deputies Sunday morning on a charge of suspicion of assault family violence strangulation.

Escobedo, who has been with the Terrell Hills Police Department for 4 years, has been placed on paid administrative leave while a criminal investigation is conducted.

He posted $10,000 bail and was released from jail the day of his arrest.

Further information concerning his arrest was not released.
