Texas Country singer asking for help in locating his missing dog

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Your pickup truck and your dog disappear at the same time.

It sounds like a country song but it’s a real life dilemma for Texas musician Shane Smith.

Smith says his Ford F-150 truck was stolen from outside the Hotel Emma in the Pearl District and his dog, named Gretchen, was inside the vehicle.

The truck was found at St. Luke’s Hospital but Gretchen is still missing.  He says she may have been dumped at The Quarry Shopping Center because the truck stopped there before it ended up at the hospital.

He describes Gretchen as a little grey furry lapdog.

Smith posted on his Facebook page that he’s offering a reward for Gretchen’s return.
