Texas Gulf Coast bracing for Tropical Storm Francine

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Another tropical storm with a name is taking aim at the Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami now says Tropical Storm Francine is churning off the coast of Mexico. The storm’s current path is heading directly toward the eastern portion of the Texas coast and most of Louisiana’s coastline.

Francine’s top winds right now are about 50 miles per hour (85 kilometers per hour).
