Texas Sec. of State pushing voter registration with new video series

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Texas Secretary of State John Scott is pushing voter registration in the first installment of a new series of videos about elections in the state.

‘SOS 101′ covers the voter registration process in Texas, including how eligible Texans can register to vote, how county voter registrars process voter registration applications, and how voter rolls in each of Texas’ 254 counties are maintained for accuracy.

Brazos County Elections Administrator Trudy Hancock talks about voter registration in her county in the first video.

The deadline to get registered for the November 8, 2022 General Election is Tuesday, October 11.
