Texas woman discovers alligator with knife lodged in head

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — What’s more unsettling than seeing an alligator swimming toward you? How about an alligator, swimming toward you…with a knife stuck in it’s head.

It happened to a Sugar Land area woman.

She’s taken photos of the wounded animal and posted them online but so far, nobody knows how the alligator wound up in it’s current condition.

Animal experts says the alligator probably doesn’t feel the blade due to the thickness of it’s skin and skull.

A game warden will check on the alligator next week.
