The Alamo is closed until further notice

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – The Alamo is closed because of the coronavirus.  A message posted on the website cites “national guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention”  and a local ordinance from the City of San Antonio concerning Coronavirus , COVID-19, in the decision to close the Shrine of Texas Liberty until further notice.  The closure took effect at the close of business at 5:30 pm Monday.
