SAN ANTONIO (KSAT News) — They were supposed to be touring with Aerosmith during the band’s farewell tour, but vocal issues for lead singer Steven Tyler forced the cancellation of their final trek across the country.

That left the planned opening act, The Black Crowes, with a lot of spare time, so they will hit the road on their own.

One of their stops will be in San Antonio.

The Black Crowes recently released their first new album of original material in 15 years. It’s called “Happiness Bastards”, which is also what they are calling their newly announced tour.

The band, lead by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, formed in Atlanta in 1984.

They released their first album “Shake Your Money Maker” in 1990.

After releasing several top selling albums, the band took a hiatus in 2002. They reunited a couple of times for short tours over the years and in 2019, the brothers said they resolved their differences and were heading back out on the road.

They’ll be stopping at the Tobin Center November 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Sunday, August 25 at 10 a.m.

You can get yours by stopping by the Tobin Center box office at 100 Auditorium Circle in San Antonio, or buy them online at tobincenter.org
