NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Wynonna Judd jokes it’s amazing she’s still speaking to her mother after all the years they spend together in a bus.

The Judds will be one of the acts who will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame next year.

Naomi Judd says she’s “hypervigilant” about looking over her shoulder, thinking they might get kicked out of the hall, because she can’t believe all they accomplished.

Ray Charles also will be inducted. Valerie Ervin, president of the Ray Charles Foundation, says Charles risked a lot in 1962 when he recorded the album “Modern Sounds in Country and Western.” It ended up a commercial hit and a critical success.

The other inductees are Eddie Bayers, who will be the first drummer inducted, and Pete Drake, who will be the first steel pedal guitar player inducted.
