Thieves break into San Antonio ATM, leave empty handed

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are looking for two people who broke into an ATM on the Northwest Side.

Officers were told by a witness that two men rolled up to the machine on Colony Drive at around 5 A.M. Monday.

They had one end of a chain attached to a pickup, the other to the front of the ATM.

The men managed to rip off the front of the machine but they couldn’t get any cash so they drove away.

The truck, which had been stolen, was found close to the scene.

Police are still looking for the two men. The incident was caught on surveillance cameras.
