Thieves break into sports memorabilia store on San Antonio’s North side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are searching for four people who broke into a sports memorabilia store on the city’s North side.

When officers arrived at Sports Cards Plus in the 2200 block of Lockhill-Selma at around 4 A.M., they found the glass door had been smashed and a large portion of the store’s inventory was gone.

According to KSAT-12, four people, all dressed in black, broke into the store and began filling trash bags with thousands of dollars worth of sports memorabilia.

The thieves then got into a U-Haul and sped away from the scene.

The store owner tells KSAT the stolen items are quite valuable and will likely be sold online.

Police continue their investigation.
