Thieves caught on video as they steal $15,000 worth of merchandise from San Antonio trading card store

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are looking for two people who robbed a Northwest Side trading card store and got around with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

At around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, two people broke into the TCG Exchange at BesTea Cafe’ on Babcock Road.

They stuffed about $15,000 worth of inventory into black plastic bags before running off.

The break-in was caught on the store’s surveillance cameras.

The store’s owner tells KSAT 12 that he received an alert on his phone form his security system and immediately called police.

He says he’s in the process of dealing with his insurance company and that several of his customers have stopped by the donate items that he can sell until his inventory can be replenished.
