SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Animal cruelty charges have been filed against the owner of a South Bexar County home where dozens of dogs were rescued.

Investigators say they found 37 dogs living in poor conditions on the property in the 1200 block of Dupont.

Facebook photos  posted on social media by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office show several of the pups crowded in a small fenced enclosure.

If you would like to give any of these dogs a good forever home, visit the Bexar County Animal Control Services facility at 5510 Duffek Drive in Kirby or contact the shelter at 210-335-9000.
