Three injured in high speed crash on San Antonio’s South side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Three people were hurt in a high speed crash on the South side.

It happened at around 10 P.M. Monday on I-37 near Southeast Military Drive.

A man driving a red car at over 100 miles per hour slammed into another vehicle.

The impact caused to second vehicle into a ditch where it rolled over. Three people inside the car were hurt. Two of them were sent to a hospital for treatment, the third was treated at the scene.

The driver who was speeding crashed his car into a concrete barrier. He has been detained by police. He will likely be charged once officers wrap up their investigation.

No word yet on whether or not alcohol was a factor in the crash.
