Local teen Eric Cantu was eating inside a vehicle with a friend in a McDonald’s parking lot when SAPD probationary police officer James Brennand spotted the vehicle which he thought was a stolen. The officer approached the vehicle and opened the door when Cantu looks up and puts vehicle in reverse and begins to flee and officer began shooting.
