Trey Ware: You CAN Make It

10 years ago today we were devastated when this beautiful light left this world. Our daughter, Rebekah Lindsay Ware, was so full of life and talent that there is no telling what her life would have become. We think of her and miss her every day.

Bek left us 2 treasures who make our hearts sing. Zoe and Annabelle bring so much joy to everyone they come in contact with. We see Rebekah in them, and that makes us smile.

Yesterday was Easter or Resurrection Sunday, and Nancy and I are comforted knowing that just as Jesus rose from the grave, one day He will raise our daughter as well.

Poet TS Eliot said, “April is the cruelest month,” and his words have been true for us for a decade. However, our faith is renewed everyday by the God of hope (Romans 15:13). We trust Him and depend on His mercy. The author of Lamentations wrote, “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning! Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him.” (3:22-24)

If you are in pain we want you to know you can make it. Hope in the God of hope. Trust in His mercies. They are new every morning. The God who made you loves you – and so do we.
