Thank you so much for helping make the Trey Ware Christmas Party for the families of Sutherland Springs the very best.

The families of Sutherland Springs were treated to a magical morning.

Thanks to all of you who brought Christmas and gift cards for the families. They appreciated every single one of them with their smiles and tears.

Elegant limousine picked the families up at the First Baptist church way before sun up.

Our guests were greeted at the front door of KTSA by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Thank you both for taking time from your extremely busy schedule to fly here from the North Pole to see the Sutherland Springs families! We love you both!

And thank you to Katie and Jonathan at KGB Texas who stepped up by working many hours arranging the gifts for the families along with their partners Walmart, Papa Johns, and Taco Cabana. KGB Texas – You made it all possible.

The Star Wars Storm Trooper was a hit with all the Sutherland Springs kiddos. May the force be with you Mr. Trooper.

Everyone was greatly entertained by Seaworld who showed up with Shamu, Sydney the Shark, Albert the Elf, Mr. Mime, and dancers. Thank you Seaworld – you made a difference!

Once again Gordan Hartman showed his generosity when Morgan’s Wonderland sent Hartman the puppet to say hello.

Then, chef Robert Fleming brought the best breakfast in Texas from Magnolia Pancake Haus. Robert, you are the best!

Thank you to Marisa Flores, the TubaMeisters, Brian Volante, and Pastor Matt Hagee for providing the fantastic entertainment, along with Liz Ruiz and yours truly leading singing of traditional Christmas carols.

The sponsors of the Alamo Lounge, GPS of Texas and Green Carpet Company, helped make it all possible.

Our decoration and security staff of John Saady, Carlos Cruz, and Ralph McMiller did a tremendous job, and thanks to Greg Martin and Don Cooper Stevens for running sound, and to AC and the Alpha promotions team.

Finally, to the most important person – I saved the best for last. Elaine Rodriguez poured her heart and soul into this event. Elaine arranged everything. She made all the decorations, and made sure the families from Sutherland Springs had the best Christmas party ever. You are an angel, Elaine!

County Commissioner Skip Hajek said it all, “These families haven’t smiled since November 5th. Thank you for putting smiles on their faces.”

I love you all – thank you for spreading Holiday cheer!
