Trio steals ATM from Seguin truck stop

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Seguin police are looking for a trio of thieves who busted into a truck stop and stole the ATM — while the business was open.

Seguin police say it happened at the Love’s Travel Stop on Interstate 10 at FM 725 in the city at around 3:20 a.m. Sunday.

Surveillance video shows three black men backing a red pickup truck to the front doors of the store.

While they wrapped chains around the ATM, a customer tried stopping one of the thieves in an effort to hamper their plot.  He was injured when that suspect assaulted him.

A store employee is seen on video trying to call police.

The trio was able to get the ATM loaded into the back of the pickup and left the area.
