Triple digit temperatures expected to scorch San Antonio this weekend

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Start planning on how you can beat the heat.
The National Weather Service is predicting the San Antonio area will sweat through triple digit temperatures this weekend.
As we head into Saturday, the daytime highs are expected to be between 100 and 110 degrees in San Antonio. The further South and West you go, the hotter it’s going to be.
The forecasted high for Eagle Pass could top out at 106 degrees with the prediction for El Paso at 107.
With the heat comes a warning from the Texas power grid of increased demand this weekend.
ERCOT says if the temps climb as high as predicted, there will be a drop in energy reserves.
