Trump Focuses on Immigration in Texas

Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump spent part of his weekend in Texas–hitting on some familiar themes during a rally in Houston.

“The most fundamental duty of government is to protect American lives” Trump said, turning his focus on “sanctuary city” polices.

“What do you tell the wife ho’s lost her husband because a sanctuary city released an illegal immigrant from behind bars?” Trump asked, before quickly answering with “This has to end. It will end. If I become President, I promise you it will end” Trump said to applause from the crowd.

Trump also focused on Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton, saying her policies would only make the issue worse by encouraging more lawlessness.
